So he sent other servants to tell them, “The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!” But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business. – Matthew 22:4-5

Imagine being invited to a royal feast – an event like no other. The finest food is prepared, the atmosphere is rich with joyful celebration, and the King Himself is welcoming you. Yet, instead of accepting His invitation, you ignore it. Maybe you’re too busy, perhaps you’re uninterested. Maybe you’re even offended by the invitation.

This is the reality that Jesus describes. God has prepared everything – salvation, grace, and eternal joy. There’s nothing we need to bring, just a willingness to come. But many ignore His call. Some are distracted by worldly affairs, some reject Him outright, and some respond to His invitation with hostility. In the end, they all miss out on the greatest celebration ever, and even worse – they’re separated from God forever.

But the invitation still stands. The table is set, and the King is waiting. Will you come?
