During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. – Exodus 2:23-25
O, Dear Christian! How comforting it is to know that God’s concern for you runs deeper than any ocean He created! There is no situation or circumstance in your life today that He doesn’t see or won’t see you through.
The Israelites had been suffering under oppression for years. Their cries may have felt like they were hitting the ceiling, but Scripture tells us the truth: God heard, God remembered, God saw, and God was concerned. He was not distant or indifferent; He was preparing a deliverance far greater than they could imagine.
Maybe you’ve been waiting, praying, and wondering if God sees you. Be assured, He does! Your pain, struggles, and fears are not overlooked. Just as He moved on behalf of His people in Egypt, He is working in your life, even when you can’t yet see it. His timing is perfect, and His covenant faithfulness never fails.
Trust Him. Cry out to Him. Rest in the truth that your God hears, remembers, sees, and cares.
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for seeing me, hearing me, and caring for me. Even when I don’t understand what You’re doing, I trust that You are at work. Strengthen my faith as I wait on Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
